Pocket Analogue – Not Your Typical Handheld Console

Pocket Analogue is a hybrid multi-video-game-system that’s a perfect fit for retro gamers as it’s compatible with the 2,780+ game cartridge library you used to play on your Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance.

Pocket Analogue has a similar but better design like a Gameboy. It has a 3.5-inch, 665dpi, LCD with 1600×1400 resolution made of Gorilla® Glass. It also claims that the resolution is 10 times better than the legendary 8-bit handheld console which means you can expect a high level of colour accuracy, brightness and dynamic range, like a pixel-perfect version of Gameboy.

The console has its usual D-Pad, four face buttons, volume rocker on the left side and three small system buttons.

Pocket Analogue isn’t just built for gaming but also for making music, too. One of the most interesting features of this console is that it has portable audio workstation built-in called nanoloop. Nanoloop is a synthesiser and sequencer designed for music creation that allows you to shape or sculpt your music, that instant, even in live performances.

Furthermore, Pocket Analogue also lets you develop your own game, especially if you’re sick and tired of your old games. Don’t fret, even if you don’t know anything about programming, GB Studio is a free, quick and easy drag and drop retro game tool that helps you build your game ideas into reality.
