If you woke up like me and read the news already, stop the press, shut the front door and hold the back page. Epic! MineskiTV and WomboXcombo will collaborate on the best coverage for this year’s International 8.

The fabled return of Lon and Tryke, two of the most prominent casters in history, will make this year’s TI8’ absolutely massive. Both studios will be working on the new broadcast Sanduguan: The 2018 Philippine Coverage Of The International and will undoubtedly have unrivalled audiences. Dota 2 fans will flip if the coverage is anywhere near as good as it should be with so much experience and passion on that team!

Usually, MineskiTV and WomboXcombo would be huge rivals, battling for the best streaming figures every night. But Sanduguan will change all that and surely make this year’s celebration of esports (and, of course, many incredible Filipino players) exciting. I can’t wait.

Irymarc’ Tryke’ Gutierrez was quick to announce this collaboration to the world with the following statement:

“It’s no secret to our communities that Filipino fans are the best. Because of their dedication to the game we all love, we are only pleased to bring them a once-in-a-lifetime viewing experience. We hope that our collaboration for The International 2018 will help move the whole of Philippine esports forward.”

Tier One Entertainment (Tryke’s talent agency) has a great roaster of casters, and its many online channels have grown audiences consistently since the network’s inception. It also manages WomboXcombo, the Philippines’ most recognized community of Dota 2 players. Both are elite, and I’m on the edge of my seat right now.

MineskiTV, who have long been established as one of the pioneers of esports streaming since the day dot, are just as happy with the partnership, with Marlon’ Lon’ Marcelo stating:

“This collaboration is just the start of the next big step in Philippine esports. Our two studios are joining forces to benefit all Filipino audiences and make sure that what we can provide is not only the most extensive esports coverage ever but the best one. Let’s bring the entire Philippine Dota 2 community together and experience The International like we never have before,”

Presented by Gariath Concepts in a studio that will prompt fans with long memories to think of successful broadcasts such as the Pinoy Gaming Festival and the Esports Gaming Summit, the channel will be live between August 15th and 25th, 2018, on a variety of sites.

If that’s not enough hype for you, check out the hysteria by watching the two-minute video announcing the collaboration. It’s so lit they put lights out on all other casts at TI8!
