Create your very own story with this cosy, adventurous farming and entrepreneur life simulator game. If you love Animal Crossing or The Sims, Trade Tales is the game for you. Developed by Brick Geek Games, Trade Tales started as a Kickstarter project. Thanks to its generous backers, it quickly met its goal and is now becoming a reality.
All About Trade Tales
Trade Tales invites you to embark on a unique adventure. After winning a plot of farmland, your character relocates to a quaint, mysterious town. There, they will have to establish a homestead and earn a living, building a thriving farming business. Along the way, you can find love, amass a fortune, or even launch a career as a social media influencer.
Diverse and inclusive, this game was made with the intention of fun, a life simulator where you truly get the chance to flourish.
With multiple different aspects of the game, you can focus on farming and fishing, or take the industry head-on by setting up multiple businesses. You can mine, ranch, manufacture, and more. This game will keep you busy with rewarding challenges.
You can also work part-time, getting to know the villagers and making friends while earning money to fund your farming. An in-game smartphone allows you to take pictures for mementoes and invest in stocks for some passive income.
Additionally, an in-depth character creator truly helps you project yourself onto the character. Being able to choose your focus and how you direct your attention opens numerous avenues and paths, making this game incredibly replayable. Customisation of shops and homes gives players the perfect amount of control and personalisation.
As you expand your business and family, you grow old and pass, allowing your children to take over the legacy and continue the family business. With a choice of alignment, you can be bad and a bully. Or good and a sweetheart—the choice is yours.
What Makes Trade Tales Unique?
There’s a wide variety of paths you can take in Trade Tales, making this game unique within its genre. For one, Trade Tales can be played as a dating simulator. The game comes equipped with 18 diverse companion choices of various genders and races. Through meaningful conversations and gift-giving, you can focus on a partner, woo them, and eventually marry and start a family. You can even befriend stray animals and have them join your journey.
Secondly, the business aspect of the game is incredibly varied. You can mass-produce your crops, setting you up for a life of wealth. By managing a factory, you can supply your own shops or distribute goods to other stores in town. Town mayoral elections are in your hands, with each candidate having a different economic goal that may impact your business.
In addition, you can create your very own brand. Using a built-in painting feature, designing your own logos and product packaging for your businesses truly makes them your own. If you choose to become an influencer, you can use these designs to create advertising campaigns to promote your products.
Creating your own story and operating your own businesses truly makes your character unique. Do you want to unleash your inner Gordon Ramsay? The restaurant is your calling. Love the cosy aesthetics of the small-town pet store owner? You can be the next Doctor Dolittle. Because of the many business choices this game offers, it avoids being repetitive and will be hard to get bored of.
