Cosmoscouts, a Polish indie game studio, unveils Moon Mystery, a first-person shooter adventure set on a hostile moon. IGN has premiered the game’s trailer, offering a glimpse into its immersive gameplay and captivating storyline. The game will be available for PC gamers on Steam on October 28, 2024.
Synopsis
Moon Mystery is a first-person shooter adventure game, in which players rely on their wits to survive the hostile lunar environments sprawling with undiscovered facilities and other entities of human intervention that give hints to the events before the player’s story has begun. Players can enjoy a visually pleasing marvel of gameplay compacted with an array of challenges, such as encounters with rogue technology and environmental puzzles, in addition to platform sequences which means no two quests will ever look alike.
Founder and lead designer of this upcoming game Mikołaj Szymanowski remarked that Moon Mystery was “the kind of game [they] always wanted to play […] a single-player, story-centric adventure game with unique puzzles.” The devs were determined to introduce gamers to a new approach to the sci-fi survival genre with a heavy focus on interactive scenes “[they] have never experienced before.”
