Developer Pocketpair has announced Palworld: Palfarm, a farming life sim that takes the Palworld universe in a very different direction. The reveal happened during Tokyo Game Show week in late September 2025, where Pocketpair showed off the first trailer and launched the game’s Steam page.
According to the Palworld: Palfarm Steam listing, players will move to an island in the Palpagos region. Here, you build a home, and work side by side with Pals on daily tasks. Farming and cooking are central, but the page also highlights crafting, a player-run marketplace, seasonal changes, and even a hidden black market. The game introduces relationship systems as well, letting players bond with townsfolk and Pals through gifts and conversations. Multiplayer is supported, and farm defense is part of the loop when aggressive Pals raid fields or tunnels.
The trailer shows Pals watering rows of crops, carrying harvests, and even running shops, as players settle into island life. There are flashes of combat and lighthearted humor that tie it back to Palworld’s roots, but the focus this time is clearly on cozy farming.
Preview reports share a few more details, pointing to NPC villagers who live on the island, co-op farming sessions, and gifts that strengthen relationships. Pocketpair has also confirmed that Palfarm has been in development for more than a year and noted that it is separate from another unannounced project.
Taken together, what we know for now is that Palfarm is Palworld’s farming spinoff, a life sim where you can farm with friends, raise Pals to help with the work, spend time with villagers, and protect your land.
