Game Awards 2024: Full List of the Game of the Year Nominees

Geoff Keighley recently announced the nominees for the 2024 Game Awards, the most coveted celebration in the gaming world. 

This year’s Game Awards nominations may evoke little surprise amongst gamers, as they spotlight beloved titles and prominent figures who have taken the gaming industry by storm. Some games have evidently dominated the nominations, such as Astro Bot and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth which have accumulated a total of 17 nominations between them. The early November cut-off for submissions meant that a few upcoming titles, such as Heretic’s Fork, were ineligible for the 2024 Game Awards. Albeit, 2025 eligibility remains at their disposal.

Users can cast their votes on the official Game Awards website. Voting for the Player’s Choice Award will begin on the 2^nd of December, followed by Round 2 on the 5^th and the final voting round on the 9^th. The Game Awards will take place on the 12^th of December at 7:30 pm ET, 4:30 pm PT and 12:30 am GMT, with official livestreams available to access across various platforms such as Twitch, TikTok and YouTube.
