The Philippines is getting its own pavilion at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026, part of a business area that’s set to host booths from 25 countries and regions this year. It’s joined by dedicated pavilions from Austria, Germany, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand. Sharing floor space with countries that have had a presence at the show since its first year says something about where the local industry sits right now, and it’s the kind of detail that tends to get buried under the bigger publisher names once the exhibitor list comes out.
Those bigger names are confirmed too. Capcom, Bandai Namco, and The Pokémon Company are attending with their own booths, while Nintendo and PlayStation will be present through partner representation rather than official setups of their own. That matches what happened at Gamescom Cologne last month, where Sony also skipped having a dedicated booth while Nintendo and Xbox kept theirs. The rest of the exhibitor list includes 4Divinity, Elementa, Gryphline, Kuro Games, Razer, AMD, and Lenovo, among others still being added.
The business side isn’t just booths, either. Xsolla is sponsoring the event’s “Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,” built around getting developers, publishers, and investors into the same room, and the show will run pitch and reverse-pitch competitions for teams looking to get in front of that crowd. That’s the part of the show where a Philippines pavilion actually matters beyond just having a flag on the floor plan.
What else is confirmed for Gamescom Asia 2026
On the entertainment side, John Romero is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award and deliver a keynote, Thai-Japanese idol Cherprang Areekul will perform the event’s theme song on the Main Stage, and this year adds ACE (Anime Asia Comics Content Entertainment Expo) running alongside the show for the first time. There’s also an online opening show called Primetime, streaming October 29 at 8 PM GMT+7 in English, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, and Vietnamese, which covers most of the region watching from home.
Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show runs October 29 to November 1, 2026, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. Last year’s inaugural edition pulled in over 206,000 visitors, and organizers are expecting more than 300 exhibitors and 200,000-plus attendees this time around.
