Save & Sound: An Online Music Festival Celebrating Video Game Music

Save & Sound: An Online Music Festival Celebrating Video Game Music

The Save & Sound online music festival is currently underway on Steam, and it’s a great opportunity to celebrate the amazing music that can be found in video games. The event features a live show with performances by musicians from games like HyperParasite, Sayonara Wild Hearts, and Gris. There are also sales and demos of games with great soundtracks, such as Celeste, Hades, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

The live show is being streamed on Twitch, and it features a variety of different performances. There are orchestral arrangements of video game music, electronica sets, and even a capella performances. The show is hosted by Bedtime Digital Games, the developers of the game Sayonara Wild Hearts.

In addition to the live show, there are also a number of sales and demos on Steam. There are over 100 games on sale, and many of them have amazing soundtracks. This is a great opportunity to try out some new games and discover some new music.

The Save & Sound event is running from September 11-14, 2023. So if you’re a fan of video game music, be sure to check it out!

  • Venba is a narrative cooking game about an Indian mother who immigrates to Canada and uses food to connect with her family and culture.
  • Detective Dotson is a point-and-click adventure game where you solve puzzles and investigate crimes in a retro pixel art style.
  • Paper Trail is a dystopian adventure game where you must collect and analyze documents to uncover a conspiracy.
